“Clean rooms”

“The manual shade didn’t cover the window all the way and there were no curtains so light came through in the morning. There were cobwebs on the wall and ceiling corner. No new roll of toilet paper. Body wash dispenser was nearly empty when we arrived and we didn’t discover this until we were in the shower. Room and hotel have absolutely no character or style. Pool closed too early. Hallways were loud.”

“It was clean. It was well located within the city even if it is beside the highway. It is incredibly noisy and after being woken up multiple times despite exhaustion, a sound machine, and a second ambient noise machine, I asked to be moved and considered myself lucky to be moved to the other side of the building on a low floor. I really should have just left. There is no elevator, no laundry, no coffee machine in the room. Items were not necessarily cleaned and I found old fruit in a bowl left...

“We arrived 2 hours early so we decided to go in and see if maybe we could check in. Walked inside and stood at the counter where you check in and a man was sitting there and for over 5 minutes NEVER acknowledged us. A lady who was vacuuming the floor in the lobby finally asked if she could help us. I told her we had reservations and she said that it would be 4 PM before we could check in because nothing was ready. While standing there waiting to be acknowledged, I heard the cleaning staff report...

“Skyline Village Inn is a quaint, magical place with a wonderful stepping-back-in-time feeling to a peaceful, slower pace of life. The view from the balcony is gorgeous, and it was the perfect place to spend the full moon. I loved my stay so much that I booked a second night. This enchanting inn has definitely earned a place on my list of places to return to. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in the Blue Ridge Mountains.”
